About Us
St. George's, University of London, one of the leading medical schools in the United Kingdom, and the University of Nicosia, the largest private university in Cyprus, have joined forces to offer the St George's graduate-entry 4-year MBBS (Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery) programme in Cyprus. This collaboration falls within the European Commission's policy to encourage academic and research cooperation between European Union universities.
Students accepted into the programme in Cyprus are considered St. George's, University of London students, learning through the innovative curriculum developed by St George's and enjoying full access to the e-learning medical education resources available to students in London, while also enjoying the full privileges and access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources available to all University of Nicosia students. At the conclusion of the programme in Cyprus, students will earn an MBBS degree from St George's, University of London, which is also responsible for academic standards and quality assurance of the programme.
Applications are being accepted on a rolling admissions basis for the 2012 entry class, which starts simultaneously in London and Nicosia in September 2012.
