Preparations for the Medical School’s first Graduation Ceremony, awarding the St George’s, University of London Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), are well underway. The ceremony will take place at the State Theatre in Nicosia on May 15 at 18:30 and the guest of honour will be the President of the Republic of Cyprus. Also attending are guests from St George’s and our international clinical partners: Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Sheba Medical Center in Israel and Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. The ceremony will be broadcast live, thanks to support from the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta), here. The livestreaming will start at approximately 6:15 pm Cyprus time on that date.
