The Student Service Centre has launched a new service to provide Spousal visa support for students with partners and children.
The Alumni Association enables graduates to keep in touch with their University and fellow students. We aim to facilitate our alumni to get involved in networking events, fundraising activities or class reunions as well as to share their career news.
Our first alumni activity involved alumni ambassadors Maya Kfoury and Mohamad Rammal (Class of 2016) participating in an event for prospective students in Beirut in June.

Ayia Anna Tavern Trip
Medical students and staff had a great time at Ayia Anna tavern last January! They tasted local delicacies and danced to traditional music. The Cypriot tavern was an enjoyable experience for all and we are looking forward to going again next year!
Following the 5K Charity Run which took place on Saturday 9th April at Prodromou Park in Nicosia, Student Affairs and MBBS students Ioannis Balanos and Christer Sawaya visited the Thalassaemia International Federation Centre in Cyprus to donate the money raised. A total of 370 Euros was raised by students and staff who participated in the Medical School’s first Charity Run. The donation will support the Centre’s efforts to prevent and treat thalassaemia and haemoglobin disorders. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated and the students who organized it.
ADD-ADHD Cyprus and the Mobile Clinic Club organised an event with us to raise awareness for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The event took place in Medical School Block B with key speakers including Dr Paola Nicolaides and Ms Sue Chrysostomou. The event was very informative and bracelets were also sold to raise money for the ADD-ADHD Cyprus community.
